April Eberhardt, a literary change agent and author advocate, is passionate about helping authors be published in the most effective and satisfying way. After 25 years as a corporate strategist and management consultant, Ms. Eberhardt joined the literary world, where she saw strategic opportunity to play a role in the changing world of publishing.

Ms. Eberhardt advises and assists authors worldwide as they choose the best pathway to publication for their work, be it indie or traditional, digital or print. She represents authors traditionally, and also provides guidance to those who wish to explore non-traditional paths to publication. She serves as a consultant to new publishing startups, serves on the Advisory Council for The American Library in Paris, and is a reader for the Best American Short Stories series published annually by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Ms. Eberhardt represents clients worldwide, and speaks regularly at literary conferences in the U.S. and abroad. In 2023 she will be presenting at The Stockholm Writers' Festival August 18-20; WriterCon in Oklahoma City September 1-3; and the Geneva Writers' Group Conference November 1-3. Please join us for one of these world-class conferences!!

Each summer April Eberhardt offers writers' retreats at a private chateau in Chateau-du-Loir, France for small groups of carefully selected authors. You can learn more about it here. We currently are accepting applications for Summer 2024, which will be held in May and June.

We look forward to reading your best work!
